Description

An airplane at an automotive tire company? You bet! This thing just plain cool, and we couldn't help but show you guys. It's an experimental airplane, known as the Mystic Lake and it was built in 1929, originally using a Henderson motorcycle engine for power. It now has a 65hp Lycoming engine that runs great, as you can tell. All kinds of documentation came with the Mystic Lake, including log books from throughout the plane's lifetime in the air. It now hangs in the Coker Museum above our collection of cars. It's a cool piece, and it looks right at home in the museum.
